How can you tell how many people are actually in the know ?

Of all the issues we are faced with in this country let alone the world or Iraq , even though everything is a very important issue .

I know it has been said that many voters finally woke up and voted the dems in in 2006 and this was said to be mostly to get out of this war .

But it this the main reason or was it simply because more democractic voters turned out and for various reasons .

If it is for the end of the war , is it money issues or the horrors the troops face as well as the Iraqis , is it just for some who may have voted for bush to save their own asses for their own private reasons .

I see some protest marches and it is really difficult to tell how much of an impact they make even though I support them .

There seems to be a bit of bashing of Sheehan since she presses the dems for action , she certainly does have justified reasons as well as code pink . I do agree that we can't depend and have full faith in politicians since they can bend in any direction .

There are so very many issues ranging from the economy and global warming to walter reed and vet care over all . There is this horrid war and the seemingly always pending attack on Iran and who knows how this will play out over time . It seems the Iran speculation has turned into a cry wolf issue but it should be taken serious .

I am completely confused and really don;t have the means to do anything to help out other than hold a sign and walk into the Vapor .

2. I believe you are mistaken about the voters #1 concern last fall

It was corruption in gov't. That is why they went Dem.

Many would say that the invasion of Iraq was a result of said corruption.

It seems what I have been hearing at the protest rallies is it was to get out of this occupation and for impeachment for the most part .
