Did anyone just see Howard Dean on Olberman?
He was very against the Baucus bill, and called it a huge giveaway to the insurance companies. He basically said it's not worth voting for, and is a rip off that will do nothing for the American people. At one point, he got very aggitated and pointed out that sixty five percent of the people want a public option, so why are the Dems voting for the corporations? Usually, or until now, he has seemed to try to be diplomatic. I'm glad he's taken the gloves off.

Go, Howard!:toast:

3. " Obama has to stop kissing Republican ass." What the hell are you talking about?
Obama knows when to seek support and when it's futile.

7. Saw it. Totally agree with you and with Dean. Baucus bill worse than nothing.
Obama has always sucked up to the Reagan Dem/Repub factions.

When Obama during the primaries first made those compliments of Reagan, I originally thought we was just pandering to those voters. Over time I have decided that he might actually believe a lot of that BS and might actually have meant his description of his mother representing some of the excesses of the 60's.

2. Yes, I saw it. He was rather strong in his speech tonight.
He probably thinks as many of us do that they are playing games with us while pandering to the insurance companies.
