4. He leads nothing
He marginalizes himself with other over the top tin foil stuff that detracts away from his very good points. He decided to be a laughing stock instead of a leader on important issue.

8. He is the only one that stands for progressive ideals.
Not that it does any good.

3. It would be nice if Kucinich got that kind of national play.
He's the only one standing on those points right now but no one knows it.

14. We have to push for him on the internet
The internet is messing with the Corporate Media control- and they know it!

16. I can just see the Corporate Media lionizing him and extolling his virtues.
I think it's amazing how much many here permit the Corporate Media PR Machine to skew their perceptions of the real and the possible. "Mission Accomplished!"

6. Yep, we should throw everything at em and see what sticks.
It's better than what is going on now, tippy toeing around corporate interests so we don't offend them.

11. Find a leader who demands impeachment and they'll be "leading" in a week. . .
We can make a president if we get someone like Howard Dean, Bill Webb, Eliot Spitzer, Janet Napolitano or. . . to stand up and tell the nation

"I've waken up to the tragic reality of our current crisis. I know what it means to take an oath. Impeaching Bush and Cheney has been a moral imperative for years. We must restore legitimacy and sanity if we are to have a shot at solving our common problems and extracting ourselves from Iraq. Only Impeachment can do it."

12. BTW. Our fantasy candidate needs to say ONE thing: Impeachment. Only impeachment. . .
Edited on Mon Jan-29-07 02:04 PM by pat_k
. . .Until Bush and Cheney are removed from office, we can't hope to begin to solve our common problems or extract our troops from Iraq.

"Our Side" can NEVER seem to stick to ONE thing. (Just imagine if every single group engaged in Saturday's protest demanded nothing but impeachment? Declared that they were putting all else aside, and focusing ONLY on impeachment because there is no hope of (fill in the blank) until sanity and legitimacy was restored to the executive branch.

Perhaps we're just not capable of single-mindedness, but it would be great to see someone give it a shot.

13. exactly right!
We need to keep pushing Kucinich on Impeachment.

It all began with someone asking him at a meeting on the media...then he put out a press release....
