1. Who here is NOT benefitting from the Monkey's supposed tax cuts?
Hell, I was doing better round this time of year under Clinton, by far....

3. We have gotten back less and less every year
since that buffoon took office. Under Clinton we used to get back around five thousand a year. Now we are lucky to get about one fifth of that and we usually owe the state. We used to be able to SAVE that money every year and we actually had a bank account and were able to accrue enough to move into a better house. Now we can barely hang onto our house and we have enough savings to live out maybe a month in the event of a tragedy. One foot in our house and the other foot on a banana peel...so to speak. I hate him.

7. Jesus, misery loves company...I'm glad it's not just our crew feeling the pinch...
Your experience mirrors ours.

It's the rich who get richer, and only the "little people" like us who pay taxes, I guess...to quote one famous Republican, Leona Helmsley...

10. Getting a return is not the best thing...
You just loaned the money to the government for a year interest free.

11. I know what you are saying.
However, we used to have so many more deductions/itemizations then. Now, it does not seem like we get to claim as many things. It always has to be such and such a percentage of something and our tax lady is like, "Sorry...that does not meet the criteria"! It has just become a joke.

4. Not late until midnight tonight. Ap 15 was Sunday yesterday was a holiday
in DC. I'm postponing inking in my penciled drafts until after work.

No point in being compulsively early with these things.

6. True. I'll think about that later....but really I'm not procrastinating. Just avoiding
being labelled as compulsive about responding to authority.

12. I just mailed off my check for $891
May the government use it wisely along with the several thousand I had withheld last year.
