TAX AND SPEND
Liberals ( Democrats) have always been accused of being tax and spenders, and is a meme that it is always used as demeaning when arguing with a repub. they always claim how much we like government. The latest trend is accusing liberals and democrats in general with the situation happening in california. California has had so many government programs and have spent people's tax money so much that they can't balance their budget. According to repukes, this is liberals' fault, the Democratic Party's fault and President OBama's fault. They forget that California's governor is a republican!.

How do you combat the following:

"I don't vote or support tax and spenders and borrower to spend some more. Obama is spending up the wazoo. You know the history of CA right. Tax and spend so many programs that you can't pass a budget. That's what I think is coming for the next several years."

I am in shock they are trying to blame President Obama to what is happening with California. and I want to know, what the hell happened there? what such the big mess?
