My son is home from Afghanistan. He arrived at his very own house Friday night and when I spoke with him yesterday morning he had just finished feeding his 6 month old son. He had to leave when his newborn was only about a week old, so this is a very special homecoming.

Thanks to all of you who offered words of support and comfort while he was gone. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life.
