Marcy Winograd captured nearly 40% of the vote in her bid to unseat Jane Harman from CA Dist. 36 in 2008. Once again, she's challenging Rep. Harman and has an excellent chance to win.

For those of you in the L.A. area, there will be a meet and greet fundraiser with Marcy next Sunday, Oct. 25 from 11:00 - 1:00 in Monterery Hills, CA. Just a short ride up the 110 N. Freeway past downtown, and you're there. While I don't live in her district, I believe she's such a superior candidate, I volunteered to do a fundraiser for her.

Voted for billion dollar wars, spying under the Patriot Act (free pass for telecoms that spied), bankruptcy bill that penalizes people who can't pay their medical bills.

we must support Congressional people who are not systematically destroying this country. My understanding is that Marcy only campaigned about 3 months last year, but she did very well for that short amount of time. Harman should be an easy knockover, so for those of us who don't live in Marcy's district, we can still support her at http://www.winograd4congress.com.
