How did he get elected? He's a DINO and trying to burn both ends against the middle. Is he looking at US interests or Lieberman's interests?

2. I don't know if people are going to be voting for warmongers in 08 |
|
I used to think McCain was going to be impossible to beat, but the more he follows in the footsteps of 29% Bush, the more I am changing my mind.

6. That the most important reason I oppose impeachment |
|
If Bush is still in there McCain is toast.
If Bush is gone McCain will look like he is reasonable on Iraq because he can claim the 20KI was not enough and now it is too late to fix it.

3. They would go down in flames - together. |
|
McCain has no trust on the far right of his party - and his pandering to them has alienated him from the independent vote (and maybe also the moderate vote in his party). While his "bipartisan" approach might have appealed to moderate independents, Liebermans increasing vitriolic/bullying rhetoric against those who oppose the war will also alienate the huge swath of independents who are against the war. Down in flames.

8. Yeab but what you need to remember is that |
|
Thse who oppose the was are going to vote against mcCain regardless. So adding Liebermanwill help with moderates. and will not hurt him much if at all with the repukes base. The worstr that can happen is thaht they are going to stay home... But they never haave bedore. Lieberman is acceptable to them.
