We are in a national emergency. Many are dying at droves. It's time to call Reid and invoke ...
the Nuclear option to get relevant bills done. I have called for it before, because I know there's always an obstructionist, and Joe Lieberman is now threatening to filibuster the health care plan. I say invoke the nuclear option, get the HELP bill with new amendment that is similar to HR 676 (single payer health care plan). It's time, and the nuclear option is justified for a national emergency like this.

We are the ONLY industrialized nation in the world that does not have any single payer health care plan. We are VERY close to being a third world country. This is not my America.

My parents were just discussing with me yesterday that they may move to Israel to live with my sister so they can be taken care of when they are getting up in their years (they are in the early 60s). Israel has national health care plan, and the top docs there. Why can't we have WHAT we need instead of the stupid fucking insurance companies raping us left and right and using our premiums to lobby the hell out of Congress to stall the health care reform.

I've had about enough of the Rethuglicans. It's time to end it here, show what they are worth - absolutely fucking nothing. Invoking the nuclear option will ensure that all critical bills will be passed without any issues with the Republicans. They have destroyed the country for 40 years, let them fucking sit on the corner and stay there until we repair America.

It's also time to correct the concept of "corporate personhood" and send the fatcat executives into prison for life with hard labor. Release the people who were jailed because they smoked pot. Release the people who have not able to afford their bills. It's time to correct the mistakes. It's time to shut down the Department of Defense and take their budget (slash it by 95%) and move it to education, healthcare, jobs, economic recovery. It's time to cut off Homeland Security. It's time to shut down the faith based office that Chimp created. It's time to remove all post-presidential powers of Chimp and Cheney (and the rest of the criminals) and have them dragged off to the Hague for war crimes.

I've about had it. I want to see the nuclear option invoked right now so we can get all critical and relevant to OUR needs (not the congresscritter's) and tie their salary to their approval ratings (no confidence votes needs to be installed). Let the Congressassholes live without health care and all other bennies, and feel the REAL pain of the unemployed, the underemoloyed, and the uninsured.

3. Profit before all else.
Is it any wonder things are the way they are? We need to change the way people think in this country. And there's no better place to start than with Congress. Single payer health care should be a slam dunk. People are dying. Look at the resources and compassion we have for a 6 year old kid that wasn't in a home made balloon contraption. Yet we'll allow neighbors to get sick, waste away, and die due to the almighty profits at the health care insurance companies.

We start wars that cost billions and kill hundreds of thousands, almost without blinking an eye.

We sure acted fast to bail out Wall Street. But forget the people who need medical help, that takes a lot of consideration and time, time which they likely don't have.

Pathetic, truly pathetic. Everyone with any reservations whatsoever about this should be ashamed of themselves.

4. Your parents will have Medicare, which is not at risk and provides great benefits.
Why would your parents move to Israel for health care?

Please don't encourage any older people to think that their health care is at risk -- it isn't.

7. If you have medicare, you also should have a medicare supplement ...
which for my husband is $184 per month (B/C PPO in California) and a Part D which for him is $42 a month. That adds up to $226 and that doesn't even include the medicare costs. They are automatically deducted from his SSI. With this plan pretty much everything is paid..even hospital stays.

Still, it BEATS the $688 I pay per month for a BC PPO! With my 30% copay and my $1500 deductible!

10. What evidence do you have that he's DLC?
Romanoff has fought for everything, and he has made it clear that he's for single payer program.

I'm interested in learning that fact.

I'm believing that Michael Bennet is DLC, not Romanoff.
