OHHH NOOOOOOO! Not the automatic Egg Cracker!
With its own yolk catcher!

NOOOOOOOOO!

Easy Cracker? 19.95, PLUS a free inside the egg scrambler? Oh my gawd. Our society is doomed. Truly doomed.
when our smartest and greatest brains are fried on Wall Street, finding even more devious ways to extract the maximum amount of green from the rest of us, instead of doing things like material science, rocket science, stem cell research, metallurgy, environmental issues, and power generation, they got sucked into stealing us blind?

that brings us to the Easy Cracker. The true reflection of America today.

2. there is a new, and improved way to break an egg.
it is the easy cracker. A stupid plastic device intended to crack an egg. If you are lucky, it will even separate part of the yolk. And this piece of shit costs 19.95.

TO CRACK A FUCKING EGG!

5. Is that the one that scrambles the egg inside the shell?
That was cutting edge technology.

12. That is the "Wait, there's more!" part
If you buy the Easy Egg Cracker, you not only get it, you get the separator (to separate whites and yolks) AND the thingy that scrambles the egg in the shell. All they need to add is the microwave omelet pan and the microwave egg poacher to make it a complete package!

I could have used that Egg Cracker when my thumb was acting up and I could not bend it - I got egg all over the counter, shell in the eggs, and a mess anytime I tried to crack eggs. But those damned TV offers always cost right at twice what I am willing to pay for whatever gadget they are selling. $10 - I might go for their three in one deal, but not $20 + shipping and handling.

14. I didn't know the scrambler thingy was still made.
I thought it had passed into bad idea hell along with the Maginot Line and Edsels.

I figure if I can't crack an egg, I shouldn't be operating machinery of any kind.

23. There have been a number of products re-released since Billy Mays died
I wonder if his estate is trying to clean out a warehouse or something.

At least they seem to have stopped using the ads with Mays - it was getting creepy seeing him still selling stuff long after he was dead.

I made banana bread today - no machinery, though I did use the oven to bake it. And as usual, I got egg all over the counter. No shell this time, so that was good. I use a potato masher to mix up my banana bread - it creams the sugar and butter together just fine and mushes up the banana nicely while leaving chunks of banana to make the bread more interesting. So I might could have avoided a mess if I had an Easy Egg Cracker!

Mmmmmmm.... fresh warm banana bread!

25. Mmmmmm is right.
Death by 'nana bread. Carrot cake is another short trip to Perdition.

A potato masher is a very handy all purpose tool.

I imagine that warehouse is the same one featured in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

was as ad for "portable cookies" (from a major company..don;t remember now)..

They made it sound like people were losing sleep of the terrible problem of HOW on earth to transport cookies

9. That "As Seen On TV" logo on a product translates into exactly one thing for me...
"DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF SHIT!"

I like that it warns me.

16. You know, its' interesting because apparenly fresh eggs are more difficult to crack
I know I have a real hard time breaking through the membrane on local fresh eggs. I just had fried eggs and I do at times wonder if there is a better way.

18. There's also some people who don't want to touch eggs because of getting something from Raw Egg
I have no problems, but if someone was a big 'germiphobe' type they might want something like this.

Why do they have to make such an asinine ad?

26. An egg cracker - that's really funny. You've got to respect
an inventor who realizes there is a captive audience of stupid people who will actually buy it. I've got to start thinking. How about a 20 foot long straw that you can put in your "juice drinks and soda" and leave it in the refrigerator to stay cold while you drink it?

27. That's just pathetic.
Maybe as a tool for the disabled/injured, I could see that...but I've been cracking eggs just fine since I was old enough to use the stove.

And that voiceover is annoying with a capital A!
