They use OUR money to finance their investment of death and destruction, which is quite profitable, especially since the Pentagon gives the contractors our tax dollars directly, they don't even have to use their own money, just rake it in. War profiteers are the ultimate welfare recipients, but instead of condemnation they earn respect.
