6. Sounds like a yawner to me. Those two will do anything to make a buck. First Lester Maddox and
Eldridge Cleaver. Then Tim Leary and G Gorden Liddy.
Now we have the Greatest Republican President of the 20th Century and the Worst Republican President of the 21st Century.

Can you say Boring?

13. Thank you!
I'll also bet the whole thing will be scripted and they'll spend at least half the time fawning over each other.

The only way it could be marginally entertaining is if someone reminds George-Boy that Poppy likes Clinton better - then they can both revert to being 10 year olds trying to get daddy's attention.

8. Oh God... I didn't think it was possible but I actually feel sorry for poor poor George..
He is SO in over his head.

I mean he couldn't handle John Kerry.. Bill will be mopping the floor with his sorry a**.

If only Bill could have run against George in 1996. We would never have had a Bush administration.

How much are the tickets? Where to get?

14. I'm definitely going to this. I can't miss the utter evisceration it's going to be
Why Bush ever agreed to this is beyond me.

Bill Clinton is up there with the smartest presidents that we've had. Bush is down with the dumbest.

16. SPOILER ALERT!
Its going to be a total love fest. They're just going to talk about wedge issues and neither is going to pull out the claws.

I wouldn't expect any less from a dynasty.

19. Whaaa?
Bush found out it wasn't a motivational speaking engagement, so he can talk about scooping up Barney's poop and what a great time he is having being one of the "EX PRESIDENTS?"

23. Figures, Shrub is to stupid to discuss anything anyways... Maybe Poppy would "debate" Carter
I would be happy with that.

22. Canceled. Article at HuffPo
UPDATE: The debate between Bill Clinton and George W. Bush has been canceled "because the promoter overhyped it as a death-match faceoff between the men," according to the New York Post.

"This event ... was supposed to be a discussion between the two former presidents, and has been canceled because it was not being billed as such by an overeager promoter," a Clinton spokesman said.
