8. One of my best friends and her grandaughter lived in an

apartment for 15 years and it burnt to the ground friday.She has nothing,no clothes ,no meds no furniture,no pictures of her daughter that died 2 years ago and her ashes that were in the living room are gone.Think she gives a damn about the size of anyone's house.I doubt it!!!!!!
Even her birds were killed and she the attitude that it could have happened in the night and over 15 people would be dead.We all need to think about that

I should let you in on the joke here. All the posters in this thread are poking fun at the many odd threads making a big deal out of the size of John Edwards house, the use of a word that some think is degrading, and the outrage over some southerners.

The truth of the matter is...you are absolutely correct. That size of someone's house doesn't matter. Not really in the grand scheme of life. There are good people that live in big houses and bad people that live in small houses....and vice versa.

And that's what we're trying to point out. If a person is a good person...does the size of their house matter?

15 people lost their homes in the fire and it was an az landmark ,over 100 years old and now it is gone with everything in it.I donated a bunch of clothes to my friend and other people and gave her money to get what she needed.She didnt even have her meds so the red cross made sure she got the medicine she needed.The college her grandaughter is going to gave her all new books for free and a computer so everyone is doing what they can.It is just so heartbreaking.
