He came to speak at San Jose City College in the 1970's and I really admired him.

I had not gone to college before I got married and decided to attended in the 1970s after all my children were in school. It certainly was a great time to be involved in the world of academics. Caesar Chavez also spoke at our school and that was a great honor to listen to him speak.

Having grown up in the UK in a working class family that alway supported labor, these, to me, were exciting times and I was always admired people like I.F.Stone who devoted all his energy in uncovering the truth. At least thats how I remember him, does any one else have any experiences.
