Can we/should we move all "trash the dem candidate I don't like" threads to another forum?
maybe this has been discussed before but it seems the last two days when I've come here to see what is going on in the world of politics every other thread has been about Edwards and after the first one I saw, none of them were particularily informative (I will admit to having only glanced at some of them and ignoring the majority of them.)

It's gonna be a long two years if this continues. It's not so much that its irritating, which it is, as it is boring.

3. Threads like this feed the problem
If you want a story to die, stop posting threads about it.

5. criticism of our Dem leaders is a positiv thing.
after all the likes of Zell Miller once claimed to be a Dem. such hyporcites need be pushed out of the party. Self criticism is a good thing. Don't worry on election day 90% of us will be united. To not allow self criticism , reminds me of Stalin tactics. right now on some Repuke forums, such sentiments are likely being said against Chuck Hagel.

6. Hold their toes to the fire!! All of them!
I have spent too many years hoping without reason that the Democratic party's elected officials would actually do something to improve the environment, health care, the homeless, housing you name it. Most of the time the majority of Dems. in Congress have served themselves and the wealthy.

I say we criticize everybody and damn them that can't take it. It's not like the GOP is going to give them a break. All we have to do is tell the truth. Let's leave the lying to the dark side.

7. the progressive caucus in the US House is pretty impressive
The Senate Democrats often are a disappointment. But the likes of Waxman, Lynn Woolsey, Peter DeFazio, Maxine Waters,Sherrod Browns,Maurice Hinchley, Bernie Sanders, Marcy Kaptur, Dennis Kucinich . The progressive caucus is now the biggest house caucus. disappoint us.? Well, maybe 55%,often do. Not enough reason quite yet, to give up.

11. Yes it is
Now that the campaign season has started perhaps we should go back to the rule of all campaign threads s/b in GDP.

13. Better that you should learn to utilize the "hide thread"function..
because any thread that even remotely mentions a candidate turns into bashing.
