Along the way, in his many years of sycophantic dedication to the political fortunes of GWB, he undoubtedly learned where many of Bush's bodies are buried. In fact, he no doubt had a major role in burying some of those bodies (and probably "preparing them for burial" in the first place, if you take my meaning).

Now I don't think Bush really wants to cut this guy loose because they don't want him to start telling tales. So they are in the position of having to either keep him on board, doing whatever they must to protect him, or they have to scare him so badly that he will keep his mouth shut about Bushco's nasty secrets.
