(Washington, D-C) -- Western Iowa Congressman Steve King says the American people should refrain from a rush to judgment regarding security at Virginia Tech and other college campuses. King, a Republican from Kiron, commented on this week's shooting rampage at Virginia Tech University, in which a gunman killed 32 people before taking his own life. King tells KMA News that the incident hit close to home. King says Virginia Tech's president has been the subject of "Monday morning quarterbacking" on security issues. King questions whether there is a need for increasing security at college campuses in light of the incident. Since the incident is the act of the lone individual, King says the shooting should be considered an example of--quote--"the price of freedom."
He must go.
