There are a TON of workers and talented people in America RIGHT NOW who are ready and able and ANXIOUS to work RIGHT NOW! And they are not being put to work. That is waste beyond belief.
New graduates - can't find work/won't gain any experience Laid off workers (talented/experienced) who's jobs have been 'outsourced' Around/over 50 (forget it)....you're gonna 'get sick' sooner or later, and we don't want ya.

59 year old Sheet metal worker here. Can no longer run up and down ladders real fast but understand the big picture. Y The kids running the jobs today are afraid of me because I know more than they do and they are annoyed that I won't put up with their shit.
I can remember a time before power drills and speedscrews. I know how to do it without computers. When we did it by hand. And yet, I am a dinosouer. If the shit really hits the fan, This could get amusing.

53 with health problems and over 100 rejections since losing my job last year are testimony to the truth of your statement.
I might not be as strong or agile as I used to be, but I'll still put my experience and brain up against other applicants. Of course, they don't look at your brain or potential anymore it seems. I couldn't even get a job as a mail clerk at a local bank.
Is this a great country or what??!!
