Question on Senate health care bill: |
|
Is there really a provision for early retirement?
I was watching Sen. Harkin speaking on C-span last night. He said there was a provision for early retirement for those not old enough for Medicare. He gave as an example a 62-year old carpenter who can no longer work due to bad knees (or something), and too young for Medicare.
Is there really a plan for early retirees? OMG, this is what I have been praying for! I'm sure there are multitudes of 55-64 year olds who would qualify.

If you can't work because of a disability like bad knees you could qualify.
