Look who is interviewing at WH for Gonzo's job!

(AP) The White House announced today that American Idol castoff Sanjaya Malikar will meet with President Bush to discuss taking over the job as Attorney General. A spokesperson for the president said that Mr. Bush thinks Sanjaya could do a "heck of a job" running the Justice Department.

12. I'm actually amazed that isn't in regular Idol rotation by now

it is the administration's biggest dimmer of the national light IMO. Idol fans flame away. I used to do american idol. It was called all state choral compettition and we sang classic songs. not classic rock songs. and we didn't have microphones.

3. Poor kid!
I saw that when they finally voted the guy off, the audience burst into applause. The kid couldn't help that people kept voting him back for each new round.

11. Pretty much seals it for me that he was a plant all along.
No talent whatsoever.

It's obvious Fox is desperate to keep the ratings high on that show.

PS....if gonzo resigns, can bush appoint anyone he likes by using "recess appointment?"
