I thought we were supporting Democracy, but freedom?

Next they'll be saying it is Big Oil, or War Profiteers.

10. I didn't see most of it, but from what I saw he was not happy at his choices.
I think there are no good choices. He may think that he needs to make one final effort before he throws in the towel.

11. ? seriously ?
I may have to watch it instead of just read it - I can always tell if someone's heart is in it - lord, the worst was that Colin Powell speech with the vial - I just sat, stunned, thinking - that bastard does not believe a word he is saying.

12. But that's his most endearing quality--you can tell when his heart isn't in it.

With Bush, you knew he was lying and you knew he didn't care what you thought.

Edited on Tue Dec-01-09 08:55 PM by Skittles
how is it endearing to know "his heart isn't in it" when he's sending 30,000 MORE people off to war?

26. I think it is that sort of Bill Clinton thing that Obama has going
He cares, ya know, he really cares.

He thinks about it before he does it, while Bush jes' did it.

In a way, the Bush thing was more tolerable. Perverse stupid actions that were not given a moment of serious thought -- you can figure the person doing that is a moron. But if the person is stopping to carefully cosnider everything and still comes up with perverse and stupid, you know they've sold out.
