How much will Afghanistan war add to deficient and fall of dollar?
And the further decline of the American infer-structure for lack of money to do repairs - how many bridges will fall down? How many social services will be cut?

As we raise the debt ceiling soon - how much more of our tax dollars will pay for this war while America crumbles from within?

The rest of the world seems to be willing to get along with not worrying about Afghanistan - why should we? Why does not Nato supply as many troops from the EU as we are supplying?

2. None. It's all already factored in at this point and in a couple of months
when this is proven to have worked it will just add to the recovery.

5. Factored in, like in who is going to pay for the war?
Whatever budget the war is factored in - American tax payers still have to pay for it. The tooth fairy ain't paying for it. And the future children of America will pay for it with their money and lack of opportunity.

3. It's going to do great for war manufacturing.
That's all this country has going for it now.

6. I was just going to say that. Military production really helps during
times like these. This could be part of an economic strategy....although I sure hope the hell not. That was what Vietnam boiled down to in the end.

4. It doesn't matter
as long as someone makes money off this.

Earlier this month it was reported that he wants domestic spending freezes and cuts in the next budget.. But there's always money for war.
