1. I think all of us are "saddened" for numerous reasons. I don't
think President Obama is thrilled, either. But we have to look at the big picture. It's going to take time to build a strategic alliance with Pakistan to be the watchdog of Afghanistan and minimize Al Qaeda and the Taliban. He knows we have to get out and cannot stay indefinitely but with some measure of responsibility.
