I wasn't sure the VT legislature could overturn the governor's veto- but they did.

5. I don't 'know', exactly, but I've lived here long enough to know

that the New York Assembly is conservative in fact even if liberal in theory.

That is, if it was going to pass, supporters would KNOW and would be saying it's a done deal.

The uncertainty about the vote tells me that it's not going to pass.

Hope I'm wrong, though, of course. :)

19. I think our Assembly is much more Liberal than the Senate. The Assembly has voted

for Same Sex Marriage and Medical Marijuana Legalization. The First, just shot down by the Senate and the Second, ignored and never voted on by the Senate.

So many of the Democrats who voted No come from Queens county, which is considered one of the most diverse Counties in the country.
