We all know BushCo was in bed with them, having ties to them going back decades. For them, "War = Profit". Bush having run oil companies and Cheney running a defense contractor.
We know their history, many of us believe Iraq was all about en richening themselves and their buddies.
What is Obama's past? What ties does he have to the defense or energy industries?
If you read Obama's autobiography, you know when he moved to Indonesia, there had recently been a Coup and a massive purge. His step-father was yanked from Hawaii because his visa was revoked. That is why his mother moved there, his step father had to return to a chaotic Indonesia. Obama as a pre-teen saw how this country was in chaos. This is his background.
If you want to go around calling Obama a war-monger and such, I ask you, what is his motivation for his decision to escalate? Did he fall in bed with the military industrial complex that fast??? In roughly 1 or 2 years? Really?????
Quite frankly, I don't know what the solution to Afghanistan is. I do know the cluster fuck in Iraq screwed up what we should have been trying in Afghanistan. We could have actually done something in Afghanistan if we didn't waste so much time, money and blood in Iraq. I also know Pakistan is a loose cannon with nuclear weapons.
Perhaps Obama thinks he can do something with Afghanistan.
