Field & Stream has given Rush Limbaugh its 2009 "Heroes & Villains Face-Off" its winner award for villain. Says America's leading hook & bullet magazine: "El Rushbo did two public service announcements in support of the virulently anti-hunting Humane Society ." The magazine reports Rush declared HSUS as an "'an allly' of lawenforcement in 'the animal realm.'" Further,
F & S reports: "Rush called HSUS's plan to enlist churches in its agenda "positive" for American values." Finally, the magazine states: "By supporting HSUS, the Maharushi disrespected a large segment of his audience made up of sportsmen, proving he's someone with 'talent on loan."

The winner of the Heroes half? Why, Ken Salazare, Secretary of the Interior, for "...targeting interior funds to "bring young people into hunting and fishing."

On the front cover of the hard-copy Field & Stream is this: "Why Rush Limbaugh is the Enemy."

Peruse the Internet to get a whiff of the 100% anti-hunting agenda of the $100,000,000-budget Humane Society of the United States.

I will take anyone who wants to advocate on behalf of animals, but this one is a bit difficult to swallow...
