I thought a few weeks ago that Edwards was my guy but then I read the stuff he had to say about Iran.

So then I thought maybe Richardson is a good guy, but then I read that he pushed for NAFTA and is not good on trade agreements.

I could still support Obama but I am not liking too much what he has to say about Iran. He also seems to be too concerned about finding the center and ending partisan bickering vs taking a stand.

I guess I should support Kucinich, but is he in it to win it or is he in there to make a statement about the war?

Is Clark running? Is Gore running???

At this point I just dont know who to support. Anyone else undecided???

i am a new mexican and as such, i absolutely love Richardson. but i am also very impressed by Edwards. best to run is already settled - that is the real question here - we can't have everything, agree with everything with another individual. With all due respect you're rejecting each one as not perfect, and it's a question of who to run and who can win, really. Look at what you agree with each one about and the list will be long. Which list is longest? Or should we support one for whom we have a shorter list but who is more likely to win? We don't want another Repuke President. see if Hillary asks for forgiveness for her IWR vote, denounces the illegal invasion and admits we should never have attacked Iraq and I'm waiting to see if Al Gore enters the race. I won't be deciding on who to support for a LONG time. I'm going to Springfield on Feb, 10 to watch Obama announce his candidacy. I want to see if he says something to change my mind about him...he's a little too moderate for me. I'm really not in the mood to 'play nice' with repukes in order to 'move forward' and that seems to be the tact he's taking now. I want these people to pay for what they have done to my country. Will Obama make them pay? Will he support investigations after the cabal leaves office? I would LOVE to see the first AA president in my lifetime or the first female president too.

Hillary and her IWR vote and her inability to call an end to this illegal occupation is a non-starter for me. She needs to do something about that before I can ever think about voting for her in the Primary. If she wins the Primary, she'll get my vote in the General, but it won't be a HAPPY vote.:(

I don't see much utility in backing one person at this point in the game.

I'm frankly taken aback by the number of individuals that have declared their almost vicious support of one candidate over the others a year before the primaries. I guess it's because a the number of political junkies who hang out here is naturally of a higher proportion than the general population. Most people in the "real world" don't even know who is running, nor do they care, which is why I find the early polls a bit silly.
