Poll question: What Terrorizes you? Al Qaeda, Wall Street, Lay offs, Health care, etc |
|
Another Du-er asked that I post this poll so that we could send the results to our congresspeople. I am less afraid of Al Qaeda than Wall Street and their lobbyists because of my own personal situation which I explained in the original post. That is true for me since I see nothing being accomplished to save a disintegrating middle class, nor do I see any of those responsible for this mess being held accountable..that also scares me. Have at it, please explain if you check other.

2. As long as corporations pull the strings, there will ALWAYS be a new enemy |

If Al Qaeda didn't exist, it would be necessary to invent it.

4. Civil breakdowns when the impacts of global warming get bad enough |
|
By my calculations there is a good chance I will be
a) still alive
b) too old to protect myself
c) possibly not able to control my own destiny (i.e. choose my own end of life scenario)
actually I am not really "terrorized" by that at this point, but it does score highest on the "probability of happening times pain if it happens" index.
