And while some may point out the hypocrisy of Congress when a Democrat is in office, well, Ill only say...

Isn't it good when a Democrat is in office that the legislature acts more sanely? Hey, wouldn't that be what everyone voted for? Good stuff.

3. Seems to me if they vote against it, that would be the best of two worlds.
He could say he made the attempt, but must go along with congress.

5. I may be mistaken, but I think they would have to vote against the
funding. I don't think they have to approve the actual strategy or the surge. And I don't see the Democrats doing that to Obama.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong on that.
