and vice-versa. We really need "bi-partisanship" to fix this economic mess.
However, we cannot expect Democrats like Barney Frank or Chris Dodd to be part of the solution. We need progressive Democrats and the Black Caucus to work with Republicans like Ron Paul and similar Republicans.
Presently, they have legislation to audit the Fed. That needs to pass. They really need to get rid of Ben Bernanke at the Fed. There is no inclination for the establishment Democrats or the White House to fire Bernanke so it must be done thru a bi-partisan coalition in the House. That is only the first step.
The second step is to break up the big banks and move the money owed to taxpayers into community banks. They can loan it out for infrastructure jobs or wherever it is needed.
The third step is to give a tax break to employers that hire "new" employees. This is what is needed to get our economy back on track.
