"People are willing to work all weekend"
Claire Centrist McCaskill describing the mood of the Senate.

Claire ...... lots of us peons work every fucking weekend, just to keep our heads above water and keep ourselves covered by the insurance vultures and because we are SCARED TO DEATH of losing it all if we piss off even one customer.

But I'm so glad you heroes are there doing the people's work.

Oh, and Claire ..... just because "this president said it during the campaign" doesn't mean it was right then or that it is right now.

Bite me, Claire.

1. Such a sacrifice!
Hey, Claire...do you have any idea how many Americans work all weekend as a matter of normal business?

Do you have any idea how many people work holidays, nights, overtime without pay?

Someone please get her another pillow, her ass is getting bruised. :eyes:

11. The reason there is a disconnect between Congress and average Americans...
Is because they are not average Americans. They are all part of a group that has been groomed (by sitting on boards, lobbying, staying connected in adviser roles, working through political appointment roles, etc. etc.) to take their place in Congress, when the the time comes to oversee and write laws for the rest of us. They have NO idea what it takes for the average American to make ends meet and to even attempt to scrape by, yet they claim to look out for our best interests.

They are all full of shit and they are part of the racket!

This fucking pathetic excuse for Health Care Reform is nothing, but a bunch of bullshit being shoved down the throats of the American People. It is NOTHING what was promised or what the American People voted for, which was at least a big crackdown on the Insurance, Pharmaceutical, and Medical Industries and a Strong Public Option. Not the Corporate America & U.S. Government merger they are pulling off and trying to make the law of the land. And I thought the Republicans were fascists, but the Democrats are now rivaling them.

13. That's the second really dumb statement she's made recently.....
..... She also whined about taking on the climate bill right now, saying it's just too much work.
