sanders and kucinich, the difference imho

while their politics (as defined by positions on issues generally) is quite similar. i believe the latter is showboat while the former (the actual socialist) is a much more pragmatic and therefore effective force for progress. for example, both have recently put forward legislation to force a show of hands on progressive issues like single payer (which is good), but in the end sanders will vote FOR any bill that provides more coverage, prohibits pre-existing condition abuse, limits profits, etc while Kucinich will vote AGAINST it, just like the republicans, but doing so for the supposed right reasons - it wasn't perfect.

I am not sure what it is but Sanders just strikes me as someone more genuine in his motives. Watching them both speak, there is just something about Kucinich that tells me he is a manifestation of all the horrible stereotypes surrounding liberals come to life. Of course, I don't know the guy or his personal history, just a feeling I get.
