The man is making a difference, and it would be good to consolidate the numerous postings and links his appearances generate.

Thank you.

2. Good idea ... but,

If there were to be a Grayson Group any posts created in GD or elsewhere would be moved to that group as soon as they would come to the attention of the Mods. Fewer people would see the Grayson posts after that.
Personally, I think Grayson deserves better. Leave Grayson threads in GD where they can be read by more DUers.

7. OK, thank you
"Fewer people would see the Grayson posts after that."

That would defeat the purpose; sorry, maybe a dumb idea, after all.

I can think of few politicians of any party who are quite as good as Alan.

I've two college degrees in Political Science, even taught it at a university, I follow politics the way some fanatics follow sports; I may not fall in perfect line with everything some consider the 'Progressive' agenda, but pretty much so. Grayson is just simply the best battering ram we've had in decades. Too much ideology can keep us from seeing some things that the Republicans did, and still do, that WORK.

Sound-bites that encapsulate the most idiotic, heartless and counterproductive things the travesty of conservatism that the GOP has become are like body blows in a boxing match; their cumulative effect may take a while to show *BUT* their end effect can be devastating. Grayson is slugging it out with Darth Cheney and the Beckhole, as good as I've seen

Look at Newt and '94. Say what you will but the pubbies took congress and a whole hell of a lot of that( was the poser of language that took the fight to the opponent. Admittedly, now the party out of power always picks up some seats in the first off year election- the reason we HAVE to get healthcare NOW even if in an imperfect form we can fix it later but saying we are likely to lose seats in 2010 is NOT being defeatist, it's just stating a pattern that has applied nearly since the birth of the nation. Grayson has both the sense of urgency required and the willingness to land a few blows.

Biden to SCOTUS, Grayson for VP 2012.

4. Same here..
The solution? Get a Grayson Rawks t-shirt, but keep posting all Grayson related pieces to GD. :)

8. As an aside
Could anyone who un-red'd be kind enough to say why? As you can tell by the low post count I'm not a prolific poster nor do I think I've made any enemies.

Not whining, but genuinely curious. Not like an unrec is going to ruin my day, just baffeled.

I'm a believer in never pulling down another Democrat, even if I vehemently disagree with them- and trying to be positive here. I could understand un-rec'ing another post if it was an Obama=Bu$h', or a troll or a link to FR or Stormfront, but otherwise isn't Grayson what we need a few dozen, or hundred, more of?

Thus if one unred'd, is it because they dislike Grayson? Don't care for fanboy groups, or just dislike newbs? Enquiring minds want to know.

9. I think they were well intentioned.
If you read the posts above, they were afraid that a special Alan Grayson forum would get our overzealous mods to move all the posts that have to do with Alan Grayson into that forum. In truth, he would get more exposure if his posts remained in General Discussion.

The only way around this is to strike up an agreement with the mods to leave the posts where they are, and allow us to cross post references to each forum.

Welcome to DU.
