Living in Oklahoma most my life it's been pretty hard to avoid. My wife was registered republican but after I polled her (pun intended) on the issues i figured out she was a bigger liberal than I am. She just registered repub when she turned 18 because her family was a bunch of fundies and thats what they told her she should do.
