1. Not sure I'm succesful or not, not sure I want to be "normal".

How are we defining "normality" here?

Definitely outside of the mainstream. Successful? Eye of the beholder I guess; dirt poor, but have strong liberal values and am still idealistic, so am successful that way.

But what do those words mean, really?

I function well in society, don't break any big rules, am happily married, and just had a poem published.

So, do those make me normal and/or successful?

Successful, well, that's relative. It totally depends what ones goals were. For example, if you tried to fail at something, and did, does that make you a success?
