Texas is a mix. The east part is like the south, the west part fits with New Mexico and Arizona, and the north is more of a midwest state. A lot of times when these regional divisions will just put Texas by itself. That keeps us from pouting so much. :rofl:

Born in the phosphate center of the state, came to Tallahassee for college and stayed. After I graduated, I bought an old semi-abandoned pig farm, cleaned it up and have made it into a horse farm. I'm not too happy with the politics of the state but I love where I live. At least this county is pretty much liberal though we keep having to fight the developers to keep the countryside from being destroyed.

But, make no mistake, marmar, it's city that requires money (and lots of it) to live in. of roping you in--but when you're into the daily routine (or "train-train quotidien" as the French say), you tend to lose some awareness of the breathtaking beauty of the place.
