Because it may come to that for a whole lot of us.

4. Comment intended more as ridicule aimed at (what is only barely) my government.
But, if I were looking to relocate to another country, it'd have to be english-speaking. I'm not fluent in any other language. Canada, Australia, Ireland, England, I don't know.

7. I've heard that a lot of people are retiring to Mexico & are permitted to
buy into their HC system at some rediculously low rate. I don't recall for sure but it was something like $50-$100 a month. Of course I also heard that the Mexican Gov'/t is getting concerned about it being so many people that it is taxing their system.

11. Therein lies the irony.
At this point, I fear that our political system is broken beyond the ability of any person, or group of people, to repair it.

21. And few did
Outside, everyone loves to bitch, but deep down, how bad does it really hurt people to have their money siphoned to corporations and used to bomb and maim people while they struggle?

Its been broke for a long time. Maybe the illusion that it is fixable is being shattered, but beyond that, nothing is new

24. I wish Canada would offer their insurance, which is like our Medicare, for
us to buy into. Of course Congress would make a law forbidding it like they did when we were getting cheaper drugs from Canada.
