We need to push our issues at the local, state, and federal levels: we need active local organizations; we need staffed statewide umbrellas; and we need national organizations with DC staff that support state and local organizing. If we can't push our issues at the local level, and get ideas back and forth across the country from local organizations, we can't possibly hope to win at the state and federal levels.
