The latest being torture (which is against the laws and constitution of the United States) and the health care Joe Lieberman debacle in the Senate. I accept no responsibility for it because I dare to be very against these developments and dare speak about it. I accept no responsibility for the actions of those I oppose on these issues. I do not accept I must put my conscience and principles aside.

1. K&R Play it again, mmonk! There's nothing resting on this premise except ...

2. The people should never be required to accept it so, especially the Constitution part.

We should stand up and say no more. It is time.

It is time to tell our Senators no more, kill the bill and start all over with the right principles...and at the same time let the POTUS know that his lack of leadership in the matter of what is best for the people, not the insurance corporations, is a real let down... He has failed us terribly and his supporter Teddy who sick and in pain stood for him...... it is sooo saaad.

5. Yes, a public option was one of Ted's steadfast postions.

While he learned to compromise in order to get things passed, that is an area he was serious about. Not even his death can sway them.

4. DADT.... the list just keeps going.
This is way worse than 93 because I'm convinced this was our last chance to get it right.

6. It is the last chance only if we allow it to be.

I think the Dems are going to get clocked in 2010, so it will be for awhile. But nothing is forever. A social movement will form.
