My call from the Democratic Party

They called me this morning and caught me at a bad time. I launched into a tirade about how I'd had it with the Democrats and I may as well vote for republicans. I felt bad because the woman was very nice and professional and certainly did not deserve the verbal abuse being heaped on her (no, I did not use salty language, I was polite, but firm and load.) She asked me what good that would do. Indeed, a very perceptive question. To which I replied, "Nothing, but it can't be any worse than this!"

I urged them not to call me again until the Democrats clean up their act.

I've received calls from several Dem organizations, and I've basically said the same thing. One even responded it wasn't the first time they'd heard that comment.

I always tell them to please make sure the powers that be know how angry Democrats are. They assured me that message was being received, loud and clear.

the benefit is that I'm not helping those who promised to help me but decided to betray that trust.

Got a call from the DSCC too. Same script. I mentioned Reid and Lieberman by name. I just stopped myself from saying "that fuckin'" before Lieberman.
