Poll question: If the 2012 Democratic Primary election were held today , who would get your vote
DISCLAIMER: I included an "other" option so people could vote their conscience, but this poster does not in any way advocate the defeat of a Democratic nominee in the 2012 election.

19. Russ Feingold?
I could vote for him, but I don't think another Senator is going to be elected President for a long long time.

The treasonous Republican infiltrators into the Democratic party known as the DLC.

3. Obama will not have a democratic challenger in '12 and will be easily renominated
Dean will not challenge him and neither would DK.

14. Jimmy Carter had a challenge from Ted Kennedy in 1980
And Carter wasn't caving into Repukes all the time. He was just the unfortunate recipient of a post Vietnam/post Watergate economic clusterfuck.

economics and other issues and wasn't a real democrat. If some of you on DU would check your history instead of inventing things you would know this. All you have to do is read Ted Kennedy's book, too.

P.S.
Kennedy ran and splintered the party, didn't win the nomination and we got Ronald Reagan. Secondly, neither Dean nor DK has the clout of Ted Kennedy to challenge Obama and they would lose easily because the Democratic primaries is not made up of only the far left. In fact, it is a minority. Regardless, Dean (who I supported in '04) is a loyal democrat and will not challenge Obama and I doubt DK does eitehr.

22. "Most" perhaps... but not nearly enough to win.
The party base simply won't show up if this continues... and those negative coattails would sink large numbers of down-ballot races.

And forget 2012... 2010 has some big races that could seriously impact redistricting.

10. I don't believe any Democrat that could be elected will be primaried
against President Obama. I would rather we concentrated our energies in changing the make up of Congress, AGAIN! Maybe this time we will get true representatives of the people in office instead of a bunch of millionaires and billionaires who are clueless because of their ivory tower existences.

18. Drunken Irishman...
I mean, he has about as much of a chance of running in 2012 against an incumbent as Dr. Dean does.

So, if we're going to throw out ridiculous options and ridiculous polls to massage the inner-thigh of ridiculous DUtards...I nominate myself.

Just for I can go on a drunken bender and piss all over you folks for being completely and utterly idiotic, crazy and worst of all - pathetic! :)

Dean and DK the leading choices for president (and I was one of those for Dean).

25. IF Dean or DK are the candidate
the Republican candidate wins in a landslide just as Reagan did.
If President Obama is the candidate, he wins a close, but not that close, election.

Hmmm? I would have to say President Obama will get my vote then.

31. DLC types try and bash, bait, and brand with Kucinich b/c they can't deal with Dean
at least, not legitimately. Gibbs can use a bunch of fallacies to try and reframe the debate, but we've seen these tricks before. We've been sparring with Rove for 8 years, that's weak tea.

40. I don't think we could get another senator elected President
Not even a good one like Bernie.

And while it shouldn't make a damn bit of difference in the 21st century, I don't see two Jewish guys on the same ticket being very likely.

What I would love to see would be President Dean, with either Russ Feingold or Bernie Sanders as Senate Majority Leader, and Weiner or Dennis as Speaker of the House. Or Grayson, even though he's a first termer.
