32. I saw Chris Matthews and I was glad he asked those questions. You can't

be serious that Dean couldn't talk and hold his own.  He did
skirt around some questions because 
he did not think Chris would put him on the spot.  I got all
that Dean wanted to say and this time
Chris was absolutely right.  I'm not in the Dean camp to kill
the bill.  If the Senate can do some sort of reconciliation I
will see what they come up with.  But no, a health care bill
must be passed.
Like it or not, this is the farthest we have come and I don't
for one minute believe that 
Pres. Obama  didn't see these chess plays that would take
place.  I keep asking myself what 
Obama could have done differently and I can't think of
anything.  He is not the legislative branch. And we are
dealing with politicians that are so out there, many of whom
will never listen to reason.
So I say move forward, and continue to make this bill better. 
If we don't pass it, will anyone be satisfied with the status
quo because that is what you will get for many years.  I am
progressive but I am also a realist.
