TeeveeTalkers, RadioYakkers, and DU Posters
Not everyone is always right nor always wrong.

Some, at the fringe, are mostly one or the other. Most, however, are worth considering.

5. It is getting harder, isn't it?
You forgot the crystal balls... there's a whole herd of DUers who have them, use them, make things up and then beat someone up with the mythic information.

3. Reminds me of the Chris Rock bit...
"In a class of thirty kids there are 5 dumb kids, 5 smart kids and the rest in the middle. That's what we are; a nation in the middle."

The question is, would you rather listen to the ones in the middle or the ones at either end?

Most, however, are worth considering.
I respectfully disagree. Most are worth ignoring. The difficulty I have found is that those worth considering can come from all three of the above categories, it's just that you don't know they were worth considering until after you've done the considering. Often it's been a complete waste of time.

4. Most? Probably...
If you consider that idiots are cocksure and the wise full of doubt... and many of those wise folk are too timid to jump into the shark infestation.

I think there's a "shadow" DU populace who vote in polls, rec or unrec, and are otherwise silent.

Then there are smelly clowns and chicks posing as fragrant shrubbery:) I don't think they count in any case.

6. You forgot those who post for the sport of it all ......
Your final two references point up the real problems, however. :)
