(Dec. 16) -- A South Florida woman whose husband jilted her after winning the lottery is about to be evicted from her house, the Sun Sentinel reported. But for Donna Campbell, the holiday season has brought at least a hint of a silver lining: a moving company has offered to move and store her belongings for free.
Campbell's husband, 53-year-old Arnim Ramdass, shared a $19 million Lotto jackpot with a pool of co-workers back in 2007, said the paper. His first move, Campbell told the Sun Sentinel, was to cut off the cable, phone and Internet service at their Miramar, Fla., home.
Then, after what Campbell recalls as an angry confrontation, Ramdass left her. She tried to sue him for half of the jackpot, said the paper, but her suit was dismissed in 2008. And in February, the house she had shared with her husband went into foreclosure.
