How many of these 30,000,000 uninsured covered in this bill.....
....are people who are uninsured by choice....and how many actually want insurance but can't afford it? I'm gonna guess that it's mostly the former.

Enjoy your crumbs, poor people. The corporate masters that control both parties have decided that this is the best you're gonna get.

2. Are you seriously saying 30 Million people are uninsured BY CHOICE?
Really? They WANT to be untreated and open themselves to financial ruin if they get ill or injured?

3. No, I'm saying that a ---portion--- of the 30 may be uninsured by choice. I'd like to know what
that portion is.

4. If I had to guess, I'd say 1%
but that's not the issue; your characterization of this bill as crumbs is typically kneejerk

5. I think it's the latter
Despite the oft-repeated meme that the uninsured are selfish free riders with plenty of money who are withholding it from the insurance system by choice, the reality is that most uninsured people - even the young healthy ones - would buy insurance if it were affordable and the coverage was decent.

6. Killing the bill means I don't have to subsidize anyones health insurance
and I can keep mine from work. Not that I'm sure thats a good thing - as I think I should help others but if people decide I shouldn't I guess that works for me.
