1. Different people with different motives
They wanted to kill it because it might contain a public option, we want to kill it because it doesn't.

"Teabagger!" is to Democrats what "socialist!" is to Republicans.

The second video is just another one of the same kind of Right Wing, anti-socialist, racist teabaggers opposing health care reform.

The current opposition from within the Democratic Party, and from Progressive Independents, is want to kill the bill because it doesn't contain enough of the very things teabaggers oppose.

A common end of "killing the bill" is irrelevant. Why they want to kill it is what defines the goal.
