You know who is laughing their fucking asses off?
Repubican leadership.

They are in the minority and they are the very brink of having successfully engineered the biggest win in American history. Hell, they could even stay out of office for years and **STILL** be winners when they have people like the Dems in charge now doing their dirty work.

1. You're right.
And nobody here has a rebuttal to that point.

So they're just going to insult you.

5. I think in the long run they aren't getting away with it.
They are destroying themselves while they destroy us. Many of us will rise again, but this time we know who the enemy is for sure.

6. What pisses me off more than anything is that after
Sen. DeMint (R-Asshat-SC) made his waterloo comment the fucking Blue Dogs and Conservadems have been working to help his comments come to fruition. I swear it seems as if they stepped up their efforts. Enabling that SOB against the President of their own (supposed) party...just blows my mind and no one who've I've asked can actually explain it to me.

working to oppose the bill.

I think the ones laughing are the insurance companies and Big Pharma. They sit in their towers, looking down from their corner offices like the gods looking down from Mount Olympus, watching that their little Democratic and Republican puppets entertain them.

That's who's laughing.

13. The sad part
is that I knew my kids SCHIP was under attack but I would have bet my last dollar that it wouldn't be the dems who took it away from them. Silly me. To think, I gave money to Obumble and his fuckwad team of corporate nut-lickers. That is never going to happen again. Whenever I see any of the people on who are doing this to my family on the ballot, I'm not staying home or voting for a third party that won't win anyway, I'm going to VOTE AGAINST THEM! Sure, we will get a repuke for a term, but we could kill off the DLC once and for all if we had some guts.

Of course, we could do what some popular posters think we should do, which is shut up and vote for traitors because they have a D in front of their name, but I'm too old for that crap. We fell for it with Clinton and he gave us workfare and nafta.

and it's been that way for a while.
There are only a handful of real Dems left that are standing up for the people.

24. "Centrist Democrats" ?.....Republicans?....
Same thing.
They work for the same people.

They rotate through the White House to keep up the illusion of a "Two Party" system.
Grand Kabuki Theater.

On my bad days, I believe that the Progressive Caucus is just another part of the scam tolerated to perpetuate the illusion that the Working Class has a voice.
LOL

The Republicans are laughing?...Yes,
but the "Centrist" Democrats are also laughing...
all the way to their Wall Street Bank.

The Health Care "Debate" was grand theater....Well Performed.
The inevitable results, a $Trillion Dollar transfer of Wealth to the For Profit Private sector was decided LONG before Obama put his hand on the Bible Jan 20th. Obama simply played his assigned role.

Can you imagine the UPROAR if the Republicans had tried to force every American to BUY an imaginary product from a For Profit Corporation that manufactured NOTHING and created no wealth?

Only The Democratic Party could have done that.

25. They lose if anything passes
You seem to be mistaking Republicans for progressives.

If Republicans had our problems, they'd be screaming Bush was a failure for failing to repeal Medicaid, welfare, food stamps and any other government program. This is what Republicans want. No government involvement.

30. Well yeah, but it doesn't have to be that way. Even faux claims of reaching across the aisle on this
would drag them in to some extent. But Obama and Harry seem content to ignore even the lie of bi-partisanship and thus reap the whirlwind to come. Incompetence or arrogance or both? Anyway, it's the Dems' fault that the pukes are laughing.
