The WH Has Treated Dean Disgracefully
IMHO.

Never once did they acknowledge or even thank him for the 50 state strategy that helped them win, when he stepped down as DNC, again there wasn't any recognition. Now they're calling him irrelevant and irrational.

I put it down to Rahm and his little clique with Carville who always had it in for Dean. But it is beyond the pale to try and label him as irrational, meaning fringe or nutty. Rahm apparently doesn't know better but President Obama should.

2. Dean's strategy for gaining the majorities was brilliant and
successful. His plans for governing are even better, but unheeded.

16. I think they plot together
I think they arrive at mutual decisions. I think Obama relies heavily upon Rahm's advice and direction..I doubt Obama would act upon anything without Rahm's approval.

4. Dean won`t play ball with the DLC
and they`re still punishing him for that. Dean doesn`t believe corporations are people. DLC does.

it won't change the fact that this bill, as it stands now, stinks. Mandate to buy with no choice? fuck that noise.

waa waa Howard Dean my ass. He's not the President, don't blame him for being a leader. If you don't like it (Rahm or Barry), show your own fucking leadership skills and get some of this fucking changed to something else or shut the fuck up.

It's too late to play the pap smear game. Deal with it.

time to start a constitutional amendment drive for campaign finance reform. Obviously, the 'real' people of this land don't stand a chance at representation.

Term limits for senators now! Just like the Presidency. 2 terms, then get the fuck out.

7. They treated him disgracefully but at the same time they
couldn't have their heads higher up Lieberman's ass, the man who campaigned for McCain and against Obama in the elections,
while Dean campaigned for him.

Unfreakingbelievalbe.

9. am sick about it.with Dean
hussband has Parkinson's and nothing new in bill re getting insurance for pre-existing condition. Can still charge exorbitant premiums (we were quoted $46,000 a year) US stopped providing my thyroid meds and can only get from Canada meds and now that would be illegal. It totally screws us.

11. That's OK Dean has acted in less than ideal manner, like speaking before thinking
which when you have so many people that let him doing their talking (and thinking) is at best irresponsible.

14. because the Dem leadership is ideologically opposed to populism
and any policy that is populist. Their ideology is wealth based... highest bidder, gets represented... sort of a government for rent.
