The DCCC came trolling my inbox, encouraging me

to show my support of President Obama by signing a Christmas card and, of course, sending a donation.

Instead, I clicked UNSUBSCRIBE and told Madame Nanci why:

TOTAL DISGUST with the President and Congress. Why bother supporting Democrats when they are as much corporate tools as the GOP. Dems have caved on real health care reform and have voted to fund further occupation of Afghanistan, the empire breaker! And smooth talker, do nothing Obama cares only for Wall Street especially since he selected Goldman Sachs men to fill key positions in his administration. Having a Democratic majority in Congress and a Democratic president has proven to be worthless. You are a bunch of spineless, gutless, lily-livered Wimpocrats who deserve to lose. We, the people, the forgotten little people, literally need to clean house and replace you with real liberals and progressives. FDR, 'give 'em hell' Harry Truman, JFK and LBJ are spinning in their graves at the DLC/Republican lite corporate whores current Democrats have become. And speaking of a corporate whore, tell that bastard Liebermann that Israel has universal health care. Perhaps if the US spent less hard earned taxpayer money in the Middle East protecting Israel and waging UNJUST wars against countries that NEVER ATTACKED US, those same taxpayers could have universal health care here at home along with good public education and affordable housing.

And the letter I sent was somewhat along the same lines. Think they will get the message? Think the President will get the message? Think he/they will care?

I think he will get the message, because if nothing else, he hears Dr. Dean and probably hears Keith Olbermann. Will he care? Probably not. Will he get reelected in 2012? Not if enough of us stay disillusioned, disappointed, and disgusted.

5. The House bill, as I recall, was worlds better than this Senate bill.

Aside from the Stupak amendment, it was pretty damn good. Direct your anger towards Harry Reid. Nancy Pelosi actually did her job.
