Palin has been nauseatingly eager to portray herself as a populist outsider who's just like all the rest of us ham-and-eggers. So when she doesn't actually ride her campaign bus, and doesn't maintain a picture-perfect family, and quits when she claims not to be a quitter, or (maybe) isn't an avid runner as she claims, then it's entirely appropriate to call her out for her lies.

The esteemed governor has shamelessly used her physical appearance as part of her tv-worthy campaign self-caricature. HipChick is just using her own campaign tactic against her.

Well, that's just ridiculous. It's as pointless as enjoining people not to criticize something unless they can do better.
